The first sale of medical marijuana was an exciting time at N’Bliss in Manchester and Ellisville, until a patient launched a complaint with the Department of Health and Senior Services about moldy flower.
Shortly after the complaint was filed, the department contacted over 200 patients who had purchased flower from the suspect batch. However, after investigating, the department concluded the flower was safe and contained no harmful levels of mold.
The batch of medical marijuana at the center of the complaint was produced by licensed grower Archimedes (AKA Solhaus), based in Perryville, and tested at MoCann Testing, a division of EKG Labs in the St. Louis region.
