3 Things to Expect at your first MO Dispensary
N’Bliss Cannabis Dispensary will complete the state’s first ever legal medical marijuana sales tomorrow, October 17, 2020! Sales will occur at two of their stores in the St. Louis region, one in Ellisville and the other in Manchester. So, what can patients expect when they purchase medical marijuana for the first time ever in Missouri?
Only Flower Will Be Available
N’Bliss Cannabis only has marijuana flower available on their opening day. It is likely products like edibles and concentrates will not be available until December 2020. Even pre-rolls will likely not be available for a while since dispensaries cannot make them on-site, according to the Department of Health and Senior Service’s regulations (DHSS).
Purchase Limits
N’Bliss Cannabis has announced that patients will be limited to a one-ounce purchase amount, or 28 grams of flower. Other dispensaries are likely to follow in their footsteps by limiting how much patients can buy. According to DHSS, patients can purchase up to four ounces of flower, or the equivalent, in a 30-day period. Over the next few months, we should see these purchase limits ease up.
High Prices
You can preview what N’Bliss Cannabis has in-stock online, and you can even pre-order and pick up at the store! You can expect higher prices than normal until more cultivation facilities are producing at a large volume. For example, N’Bliss is selling several hybrid strains for $59.99 per eighth, or 3.5 grams. In Denver, Colorado, an eighth commonly sells for $29.38.
